Library Cards for Children
Children six and older may have a library card. Parents must accompany children under 14, and sign the card application. Profile students may apply for a card on their own.
Libraries take privacy very seriously, and this includes our youngest patrons. NH Statutes guarantee the confidentiality of Library records for card holders of any age. Therefore, a parent is finacially responsible for their child's library items, but may not know the titles.
We do offer a family card. The family has one library card number, and everyone in the family can see what is checked out and when it is due. An adult who already has a library card may add their children (over age 6) to the card at any time.
Apply at the circulation desk, or start the process online.
